David-IsaacArinze

BSc (Hons) MSc AISEP AIoL LFA

A systems-oriented project and programme professional with deep built-environment expertise.

Trained as an architect, specialised in sustainability transitions, now helping Glasgow City Council target and deliver home energy retrofit. I connect design, data, policy and people to move ideas from concept to measurable delivery.

Based in Glasgow, Scotland Now Project Officer, Affordable Warmth, Glasgow City Council

Six disciplines taught me to think in systems.

I’ve worked across architecture, experiential design, public-sector housing, homelessness services, affordable warmth and retrofit, PropTech and community leadership, in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

Each one changed how I see problems. Select a line to see where it shows up in my work.

Systems of spaceInner ring: people. Outer ring: transition.

So I approach complex problems at several levels at once: human experience, process, organisation, data, physical environment, technology and the wider systems around them.

My career, drawn as a programme plan

Eight years across private practice, start-ups, local government and community leadership, often in parallel. Select any row to read the role.

Diamonds mark milestones. Dashed bars have approximate dates. Faded ends mean the role continues today.

      Architecture

Buildings and concepts from my years in practice. Select a project to see its images, drawings and the thinking behind the design.

        T-shaped, on purpose

Depth in the built environment, breadth across data, operations and strategy, joined up by systems and design thinking. Select any word to see the skills behind it.

I’m also an X-shaped learner: I connect disciplines that usually sit apart, such as design, policy, technology, sustainability, behaviour, culture and data, and turn that into practical systems, projects and tools.

        Learning and credentials

Two degrees, seven professional memberships and accreditations, and a steady habit of learning in neighbouring disciplines.
